Day Wise Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Chennai + City Sightseeing

  • Arrival at Chennai International Airport or Chennai Central Railway Station and check-in to your preferred hotel.
  • Afternoon relaxation and lunch at the hotel.
  • Evening visit to Marina Beach – enjoy a sunset walk on the promenade.
  • Optional sea-facing dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Explore Heritage and Culture Trail

  • Start your day with traditional South Indian breakfast.
  • Visit iconic sites – Kapaleeshwarar Temple, Santhome Basilica & Vivekananda House.
  • Witness art and history at the Government Museum, Egmore.
  • Enjoy a hearty lunch at Saravana Bhavan or Annalakshmi.
  • Evening shopping spree at T. Nagar or Phoenix Marketcity.

Day 3: Day Trip to Kanchipuram

  • Early morning drive to Kanchipuram, the city of temples.
  • Explore ancient temples- Ekambareswarar, Kailasanathar and Kamakshi Amman.
  • Witness traditional silk weaving at a local workshop.
  • Relish a delicious vegetarian meal at Saravana Bhavan.

Day 4: Mahabalipuram Exploration

  • Scenic drive to the coastal town of Mahabalipuram.
  • Visit Shore Temple, Arjuna’s Penance, Five Rathas & Krishna’s Butter Ball.

Day 5: Explore Pondicherry

  • Checkout and head towards Pondicherry by road.

  • Enjoy café-hopping (Le Dupleix / Coromandel Café).
  • Check in to your hotel and enjoy a peaceful night in Pondy.

Day 6: Spiritual Day Trip to Tiruvannamalai

  • Early start for a spiritual journey to Tiruvannamalai.
  • Seek blessings at Arunachaleswarar Temple, one of the Panch Bhoota Sthalams.
  • Visit the serene Ramana Maharshi Ashram.
  • Local lunch at a traditional South Indian restaurant.
  • Return to Pondicherry for overnight stay.

Day 7: Return to Chennai & Departure

  • Breakfast and relaxed morning in Pondicherry.
  • Drive back to Chennai .
  • En route views of the scenic East Coast Road.
  • Drop at Chennai Airport/Railway Station for your return journey.
