Day Wise Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Kochi and Explore Munnar

  • Pickup from Cochin Airport/Railway Station
  • Visit Cheeyappara & Valara Waterfalls and admire tea plantation views  en route to Munnar
  • Check-in at your selected hotel/resort in Munnar, enjoy lunch and relax.
  • Evening visit to Pothamedu Viewpoint for a stunning sunset over the hills.

Day 2: Munnar Sightseeing

  • Start with a hearty breakfast, then visit Eravikulam National Park – home of the Nilgiri Tahr.
  • Explore the Tea Museum, Blossom Hydel Park and Top Station for panoramic Ghat views.
  • Lunch at a nearby restaurant, then enjoy local shopping for tea, spices and handmade souvenirs.
  • Return to the hotel, relax, enjoy dinner and overnight stay in Munnar.

Day 3: Enjoy Kumarakom Backwater Day Cruise

  • Early breakfast and drive to Kumarakom .
  • Enjoy a houseboat or motorboat cruise on Vembanad Lake – choose from sunset cruise, full-day or village tours.
  • Visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, Bay Island Driftwood Museum and Ettumanoor Mahadeva Temple (evening visit).
  • Check-in at the resort, have dinner and overnight stay in Kumarakom.

Day 4: Visit Kumarakom to Thekkady (Periyar)

  • Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Thekkady (Periyar).
  • Check-in at the resort/hotel and enjoy a scenic boat ride at Periyar Lake Wildlife Sanctuary.
  • Visit a spice plantation, enjoy an elephant ride or bathing session.
  • Witness Kathakali dance or Kalaripayattu martial arts performance in the evening, followed by dinner.

Day 5: Thekkady to Kochi City Tour

  • After breakfast, drive to Fort Kochi.
  • Visit Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica and Dutch Palace.
  • Stroll around Jew Town and Synagogue, enjoy sunset tea at Marine Drive and optional boat rides.
  • Optionally visit Lulu Mall, then return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Departure from Kochi

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Check-out and transfer to Cochin International Airport or Ernakulam Railway Station.
  • Final shopping or photo stop if time permits.
  • Depart with beautiful memories of Kerala.
